Quidam the story

Cirque du Soleil always brings outstanding creativity to its shows, and Quidam is no exception. After the worldwide successes of SaltimbancoTM and AlegríaTM, Quidam takes the elements of surprise and daring to a new theatrical level. Quidam combines all the renowned skills in music, dance, acrobatics and visual design with a powerful story, performed by the talented international cast of over 50 artists from 14 countries. The show not only amazes and delights with its spectacle and skill, it leaves audiences with a renewed spirit and optimism.

The story of "Quidam" is a universal one, as the central character, Zoë, finds herself in a lonely, faceless world, but is offered the chance to renew her connection with family, with society and with humanity. Told with humour, thrills, special effects and sheer acrobatic brilliance, it's also a story offering hope and inspiration.

Starting as ground-breaking street performers in the 1980s, Cirque du Soleil has grown into the most innovative and daring acrobatic performance company in the world. Quidam has already been shown to over 6 million people, and brings the vast assembly of performers, sets and costumes to Australia under a special new blue and yellow striped Big Top, the "Grand Chapiteau". Performances in Australia are in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.

Quidam is a powerful experience, showcasing the passion and excellence of world class performers who represent the very best in their fields.

Enter the "Grand Chapiteau", and see a world transformed from the ordinary to the extraordinary: Quidam.
